To the think tanks,
Speaking as an aware individual, I urge you to look into ways of maintaining life at any level of population. There are resources that are infinite, unfortunately it is economically impossible to assimilate these things into society. Perhaps in order to survive we must eliminate our current status of economy and government or start it over entirely. No souls need to be lost.
We could invoke the production of algae farms across the globe, cheap to build with the ability to produce oil for power they can become self sustaining. In the future every family could have one in their home, as there are algae that supply all the nutrients necessary for our bodies. We could easily end world hunger with fast growing algae.
I understand the pessimism that accepts viewpoints like the inability of the populous to adapt to anything reasonable that neglects detrimental effects towards our environment, and the impossibility of eradicating greed, but I personally choose to believe in the positive potential of mankind. Educate them and they will surprise you.
Instead of lowering population we should get rid of ideas that no longer work, like companies that thrive off of unethical acts and produce income and political power through loopholes, forgery, and lies. Currency is suppose to represent trust and I believe mankind can make it by on trust alone.
We should go back to a time when obtaining interest on loans was illegal. Finding a loophole in God's law by identifying one's spiritual brothers as strangers was the first step of belligerent greed that led to the quick decline of the world. Economy's clime was our original death sentence. The world's economies and governments are powered by greed, and as long as these loopholes exist our resources will never back our currency. In order to right what has wronged we must fix our mistakes; in order to fix them we must first acknowledge them.
Sincerely,
Randall Thomas
